InfraX and Space42 Drive IoT Advancements in the UAE

The companies sign an MoU to elevate IoT and LPWAN solutions to new heights

Dubai, UAE, October 16, 2024: InfraX, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA—the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC)—has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Space42 (ADX: SPACE42), the UAE’s first AI-powered SpaceTech company with global reach. This groundbreaking agreement is set to combine the strengths of both organizations to push the boundaries of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technologies in the UAE.

The MoU was signed at GITEX 2024 by Rashid Alahmedi, Chief Operating Officer of InfraX, and Sulaiman Al Ali, CEO of Thuraya Telecommunications Company, the satellite mobility arm of Space42’s Yahsat Space Services. This collaboration will see the integration of InfraX’s cutting-edge infrastructure solutions with Space42’s global satellite connectivity, leveraging Thuraya’s extensive IoT network to develop innovative use cases for various industries, especially in the utilities sector.
