Ending the compromise between power and efficiency, all 2022 QX50 models are powered by the award-winning and world’s first variable-compression turbocharged (VC-Turbo) engine that produces a thrilling 268 horsepower with a fuel eco-friendly efficiency rating of “Excellent” and fuel economy of 13.6 KM/L (Combined).³ 

The impressive 2022 QX50 models now come equipped with convenience features such as a Type-C USB charge port for rear passengers, rear door-activated Intelligent Key entry, auto-folding outside mirrors, and LED welcome lights on the back door handles.

The advanced safety package of ProACTIVE is now standard on LUXE STYLE to Autograph grades of the mid-size crossover starting from AED 175,000. ¹

An updated BLACK EDITION Package adds daring touches to the QX50 LUXE STYLE AWD model, including 20-inch wheels in dark chrome for serious curb appeal, black exterior mirrors, an imposing dark chrome radiator grille, dark chrome back door finisher, interior headliner in black tricot, and a gloss black front fender outlet garnish.

Additionally, the QX50 SENSORY comes standard with the immersive Bose® Performance Series 16 Speakers for an elevated music experience with incredible depth and clarity, climate-controlled front seats, Motion Activated Liftgate, appointed perforated seats, and head-up display.

Technologically advanced, human-centered drive

Powering every 2022 QX50 is the world’s first mass-production variable-compression turbocharged (VC-Turbo) engine that helps to deliver enhanced efficiency or dynamic power based on the driver’s input.

At its heart, a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo inline-4 engine produces 268 horsepower and 380-newton meter of torque thanks to a seamlessly integrated system that can imperceptibly lengthen or shorten the stroke of each cylinder for efficiency or power.

That engine is paired to an advanced XTRONIC continuously variable transmission (CVT) with Downshift Rev Matching and standard steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. With INFINITI’s optional Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system, the powertrain propels the QX50’s front wheels or all four wheels. The VC-Turbo and CVT offer an empowering drive experience with efficiency and refinement.

When equipped, Intelligent All-Wheel Drive can direct up to 50% of the QX50’s available power toward the rear wheels for enhanced all-weather confidence. A standard shift-by-wire system is more compact than traditional mechanical linkages, freeing up interior space while offering quicker shifts when engaged in manual mode.

When equipped with ProACTIVE, QX50 will support the driver during the drive with advanced safety features like Intelligent cruise control, Blind Spot Warning and Intervention, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Forward collision warning, Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, high beam assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Proactive is standard on all QX50 grades (Except LUXE).
